The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Belfry Pirates (Belfry, KY) and the visiting Pike County Central Hawks (Pikeville, KY), observed Belfry's softball team notch a victory over Pike County Central by a final score of 11-2.

The Pirates (11-7) will now prepare for their bout against Tolsia (Fort Gay, WV). The Rebels go into the non-league bout with a 10-8 record. In their last bout, Tolsia beat Mingo Central (Matewan, WV), 12-4, in a non-league outing.

With the loss, Pike County Central moves to 12-11 on the season. The Hawks travel to Hazard (Hazard, KY) to encounter the Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Thursday, May 1. The Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 11-7. Hazard won 13-0 in their recent non-league outing against Breathitt County (Jackson, KY)
