The Cranford Cougars softball team scored 15 runs and held the host Brearley Bears to 5 in the Cougars non-league win on Tuesday.

The Cougars now possess a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elizabeth for a UCC - Watchung battle on Thursday, May 1. Cranford will confront a Minutemen team coming off a 18-6 league loss to Dayton (Springfield, NJ). The Minutemen record now stands at 1-12.

With the loss, Brearley moves to 2-11 on the season. The Bears travel to Johnson (Clark, NJ) to confront the Crusaders in a non-league battle on Thursday, May 1. The Crusaders come into the battle with a record of 11-2. Johnson won 7-0 in their recent league battle against Westfield (Westfield, NJ)
