California High School Softball - Merced bounces Buhach Colony

April 29, 2025: Atwater, CA 95301

The Merced Bears softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Buhach Colony Thunder to 0 in the Bears league win on Tuesday.

The Bears now possess a 21-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host El Capitan for a Central California Conference battle on Thursday, May 1. Merced will confront a Gauchos team coming off a 14-2 league loss to Los Banos (Los Banos, CA). The Gauchos record now stands at 0-18.

With the loss, Buhach Colony moves to 7-11 on the season. The Thunder host Atwater (Atwater, CA) to confront the Falcons in a Central California Conference battle on Thursday, May 1. The Falcons come into the battle with a record of 19-6. Atwater won 6-0 in their recent league battle against Golden Valley (Merced, CA)
