The Cabot Panthers softball team scored 9 runs and held the host Central Tigers to 1 in the Panthers league win on Tuesday.

The Panthers now possess a 18-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jonesboro for a 6A Central battle on Thursday, May 1. Cabot will confront a Hurricane team coming off a 17-5 league win over Little Rock Southwest (Little Rock, AR). The Hurricane record now stands at 4-11.

With the loss, Central moves to 14-8 on the season. The Tigers host Bryant (Bryant, AR) to confront the Hornets in a 6A Central battle on Thursday, May 1. The Hornets come into the battle with a record of 18-1. Bryant won 16-0 in their recent league battle against Little Rock Southwest (Little Rock, AR)
