The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY) and the host Calloway County Lakers (Murray, KY), observed Marshall County's softball team get by Calloway County by a final score of 7-0.

The Marshals (27-4) will now prepare for their bout against Ballard Memorial (Barlow, KY). The Bombers go into the non-league bout with a 14-7 record. In their last bout, Ballard Memorial was routed by Livingston Central (Smithland, KY), 12-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Lakers battle the Mayfield Cardinals (Mayfield, KY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, May 1. Calloway County will attempt to better on its 2-22 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 7-13 record after their 14-3 non-league loss to Hopkins County Central (Madisonville, KY).
