In Tuesday's league test, the Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Rock Hill Bearcats (Rock Hill, SC), by a tally of 17-0.
Next, the Copperheads clash with the Lexington Wildcats (Lexington, SC) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, April 30. Catawba Ridge will attempt to advance on its 23-0 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 18-3 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to North Augusta (North Augusta, SC).
The Bearcats (4-17) will now prepare for their test against Union County (Union, SC). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league test with a 16-5 record. In their last test, Union County prevailed over Woodruff (Woodruff, SC), 10-0, in a non-league test.
