The Coalinga Horned Toads softball team scored 12 runs and held the host Firebaugh Eagles to 0 in the Horned Toads league win on Tuesday.

The Horned Toads now sport a 15-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Avenal for a West Sierra battle on Friday, May 2. Coalinga will confront a Buccaneers team coming off a 13-3 league loss to Dos Palos (Dos Palos, CA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 15-5.

With the loss, Firebaugh moves to 1-17 on the season. The Eagles travel to Caruthers (Caruthers, CA) to confront the Blue Raiders in a non-league battle on Thursday, May 1. The Blue Raiders come into the battle with a record of 8-9. Caruthers won 17-1 in their recent league battle against Parlier (Parlier, CA)
