With the triumph, Grainger upgrades its record to 12-8 on the year. The Grizzlies travel to Anderson County (Clinton, TN) to play the Mavericks in a non-league game on Friday, May 2. The Mavericks enter the game with a record of 22-12. Anderson County won 7-4 in their recent non-league game against Coalfield (Coalfield, TN)

The Panthers now own a 4-16 record. They play next when they travel to Scott for a 3A District 4 game on Thursday, May 1. Cumberland Gap will play a Highlanders squad coming off a 12-0 league loss to Union County (Maynardville, TN). The Highlanders record now stands at 1-14.
