North Carolina High School Softball - Draughn held off by Mountain Heritage

The Mountain Heritage Cougars got by the visiting Draughn Wildcats softball squad by a count of 4-3 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC) in a Western Highlands 1A/2A challenge, on Friday, May 2. Mountain Heritage will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a 12-9 record after their 4-3 league loss to Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC).

The Wildcats (12-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC). The Cougars go into the Western Highlands 1A/2A challenge with a 5-9 record. In their last challenge, Mountain Heritage held off Draughn (Valdese, NC), 4-3, in a league challenge.
