The East Rutherford Cavaliers overwhelmed the visiting Polk County Wolverines softball squad by a count of 12-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Cavaliers meet the Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC) in a Mountain Foothills Seven 1A/2A challenge, on Thursday, May 1. East Rutherford will attempt to upgrade on its 12-8 season record. The Wolverines go into the challenge with a 10-11 record after their 12-0 league loss to East Rutherford (Forest City, NC).
