The Harvard Ellis Tech Eagles softball team scored 20 runs and held the host New London Whalers to 9 in the Eagles non-league win on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Windham RVT for a non-league battle on Monday, May 5. Harvard Ellis Tech will confront a Mighty Tigers team coming off a 14-0 non-league loss to Stafford (Stafford Springs, CT). The Mighty Tigers record now stands at 5-5.
With the loss, New London moves to 0-10 on the season. The Whalers host Putnam (Putnam, CT) to confront the Clippers in a non-league battle on Thursday, May 1. The Clippers come into the battle with a record of 4-4. Putnam won 6-3 in their recent non-league battle against Ellis RVT (Killingly, CT)
