The Prince George Royals softball team scored 21 runs and held the visiting Hopewell Blue Devils to 2 in the Royals league win on Tuesday.

The Royals now possess a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thomas Dale for a Central battle on Thursday, May 1. Prince George will confront a Knights team coming off a 18-2 league win over Petersburg (Petersburg, VA). The Knights record now stands at 4-9.

With the loss, Hopewell moves to 3-9 on the season. The Blue devils host Dinwiddie (Dinwiddie, VA) to confront the Generals in a Central battle on Thursday, May 1. The Generals come into the battle with a record of 9-2. Dinwiddie won 1-0 in their recent league battle against Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA)
