California High School Softball - Hughson edged by Ripon

Ripon Indians (Ripon, CA) supporters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Hughson Huskies (Hughson, CA), 5-4 in a league game.

With the triumph, Ripon improves its record to 16-7 on the year. The Indians host Riverbank (Riverbank, CA) to face the Bruins in a non-league game on Thursday, May 1. The Bruins enter the game with a record of 2-21. Riverbank lost 15-2 in their recent league game against Calaveras (San Andreas, CA)

The Huskies now hold a 13-8 record. They play next when they travel to Sonora for a Trans Valley League game on Tuesday, May 6.
