The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the James Wood Colonels (Winchester, VA) and the host Kettle Run Cougars (Nokesville, VA), observed James Wood's softball team prevail over Kettle Run by a tally of 13-0.

The Colonels (9-4) will now prepare for their bout against Strasburg (Strasburg, VA). The Rams go into the non-league bout with a 8-5 record. In their last bout, Strasburg knocked off Stonewall Jackson (Quicksburg, VA), 10-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Liberty Eagles (Bealeton, VA) in a Northwestern bout, on Thursday, May 1. Kettle Run will attempt to advance on its 7-4 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 14-13 league loss to Millbrook (Winchester, VA).
