Maryland High School Softball - John Carroll sneaks past McDonogh

In Tuesday's league match, the host John Carroll Patriots softball team scored a tight 4-3 win over the McDonogh Eagles.
The Patriots (11-5) will now prepare for their match against Mount de Sales Academy (Catonsville, MD). The Sailors come into the IAAM match with a 13-6 record. In their last match, Mount de Sales Academy nipped Catholic (Baltimore, MD), 9-6, in a league match.
In their next game, the Eagles confront the Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD) in a IAAM match, on Thursday, May 1. McDonogh will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Cavaliers come into the match with a 11-3 record after their 12-1 non-league win over Mercy (Baltimore, MD).
