The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Lansingburgh Knights (Troy, NY) and the visiting Schenectady Patriots (Schenectady, NY), observed Lansingburgh's softball team prevail over Schenectady by a tally of 29-6.

The Knights (9-4) will now prepare for their bout against Albany Academy for Girls (Albany, NY). The Bears go into the Section 2 Colonial bout with a 2-1 record.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Niskayuna Silver Warriors (Niskayuna, NY) in a Section 2 Suburban - Blue bout, on Thursday, May 1. Schenectady will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Silver Warriors go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 9-8 league win over Ballston Spa (Ballston Spa, NY).
