The Pierz Pioneers softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Little Falls Flyers to 4 in the Pioneers non-league win on Tuesday.
The Pioneers now possess a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sauk Centre for a non-league game on Wednesday, April 30.
The Flyers now hold a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Foley for a Granite Ridge game on Thursday, May 1. Little Falls will face a Falcons squad coming off a 6-3 league loss to Pequot Lakes (Pequot Lakes, MN). The Falcons record now stands at 4-4.
