Utah High School Softball - Westlake bounces Lone Peak

April 29, 2025: Highland, UT 84003

The Westlake Thunder (Saratoga Springs, UT) softball routed the host Lone Peak Knights (Highland, UT), 16-1 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Thunder now sport a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pleasant Grove for a 6A Region 3 outing on Friday, May 2. Westlake will encounter a Vikings team coming off a 9-6 non-league win over Maple Mountain (Spanish Fork, UT). The Vikings record now stands at 18-6.

With the loss, Lone Peak moves to 4-14 on the season. The Knights host American Fork (American Fork, UT) to encounter the Cavemen in a 6A Region 3 outing on Thursday, May 1. The Cavemen come into the outing with a record of 8-14. American Fork lost 12-6 in their recent league outing against Skyridge (Lehi, UT)
