California High School Softball - Lower Lake bounces Middletown

The Lower Lake Trojans softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Middletown Mustangs to 0 in the Trojans league win on Tuesday.

The Trojans now possess a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Helena for a North Central I battle on Friday, May 2. Lower Lake will confront a Saints team coming off a 16-2 league win over Kelseyville (Kelseyville, CA). The Saints record now stands at 16-4.

With the loss, Middletown moves to 5-10 on the season. The Mustangs host Fort Bragg (Fort Bragg, CA) to confront the Timberwolves in a North Central I battle on Thursday, May 1. The Timberwolves come into the battle with a record of 5-9. Fort Bragg won 5-4 in their recent league battle against Clear Lake (Lakeport, CA)
