In Tuesday's non-league test, the Mahtomedi Zephyrs (Mahtomedi, MN) softball squad got by the host Tartan Titans (Oakdale, MN), by a tally of 10-9.
Next, the Zephyrs clash with the Hastings Raiders (Hastings, MN) in a Metro East test, on Wednesday, April 30. Mahtomedi will attempt to advance on its 4-7 season record. The Raiders go into the test with a 8-2 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Woodbury (Woodbury, MN).
The Titans (1-9) will now prepare for their test against Two Rivers (Mendota Heights, MN). The Warriors go into the Classic Suburban test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Two Rivers was nudged by South St. Paul (South St. Paul, MN), 12-5, in a league test.
