Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Sibley East Wolverines (Arlington, MN), 16-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Maple River upgrades its record to 9-2 on the year. The Eagles travel to Minnesota Valley Lutheran (New Ulm, MN) to play the Chargers in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 6. The Chargers enter the game with a record of 3-9. Minnesota Valley Lutheran lost 12-3 in their recent league game against Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (Winthrop, MN)

The Wolverines now own a 0-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lester Prairie for a non-league bout on Friday, May 2. Sibley East will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart (Hector, MN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-5.
