In their last bout, Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park tipped Francis W. Parker (Chicago, IL), 20-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Comets battle the Coal City Coalers (Coal City, IL) in a Illinois Central Eight bout, on Monday, May 5. Reed-Custer will attempt to advance on its 9-10 season record. The Coalers go into the bout with a 15-7 record after their 9-4 non-league loss to Seneca (Seneca, IL).
