New York High School Softball - Saranac edges Peru

April 29, 2025: Saranac, NY 12981

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Saranac Spartans (Saranac, NY) and the visiting Peru Nighthawks (Peru, NY), observed Saranac's softball team get by Peru by a tally of 8-6.

The Spartans (7-3) will now prepare for their bout against AuSable Valley (Clintonville, NY). The Patriots go into the Section 7 Champlain Valley I bout with a 2-3 record. In their last bout, AuSable Valley tipped Northern Adirondack (Ellenburg Depot, NY), 15-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Nighthawks clash with the Saranac Lake Red Storm (Saranac Lake, NY) in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I bout, on Thursday, May 1. Peru will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record.
