The Southland Rebels softball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Schaeffer Academy Lions to 0 in the Rebels non-league win on Tuesday.

The Rebels now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glenville-Emmons for a Southeast battle on Thursday, May 1. Southland will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 17-10 non-league loss to Spring Grove (Spring Grove, MN). The Wolverines record now stands at 2-8.

With the loss, Schaeffer Academy moves to 0-12 on the season. The Lions host Mabel-Canton (Mabel, MN) to confront the Cougars in a Southeast battle on Thursday, May 1. The Cougars come into the battle with a record of 8-3. Mabel-Canton won 23-5 in their recent league battle against Lyle/Pacelli (Lyle, MN)
