In Wednesday's league bout, the Clear Spring Blazers (Clear Spring, MD) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Smithsburg Leopards (Smithsburg, MD), by a tally of 9-1.
Next up, the Blazers encounter the Hancock Panthers (Hancock, MD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, May 1. Clear Spring will attempt to upgrade on its 15-5 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 2-13 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to GVCS Broadfording (Hagerstown, MD).
