Virginia High School Baseball - Grafton defeats Gloucester

April 29, 2026: Gloucester, VA 23061

The Grafton Clippers baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Gloucester Dukes to 0 in the Clippers league win on Wednesday.

The Clippers now own a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Poquoson for a Bay Rivers test on Friday, May 1. Grafton will clash with a Bull Islanders team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Tabb (Yorktown, VA). The Bull Islanders record now stands at 6-8.

With the defeat, Gloucester drops to 3-10 on the year. The Dukes travel to Essex (Tappahannock, VA) to play the Trojans in a non-league game on Monday, May 4. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 3-7. Essex lost 11-2 in their recent league game against Northumberland (Heathsville, VA)
