The Ridgewood The Maroons baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Hackensack Comets to 2 in the The Maroons league win on Wednesday.

The The Maroons now own a 14-5 record. They take the field next when they host Don Bosco Prep for a non-league test on Friday, May 1. Ridgewood will clash with a Ironmen team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over St. Peter's Prep (Jersey City, NJ). The Ironmen record now stands at 18-5.

With the defeat, Hackensack drops to 7-10 on the year. The Comets host Indian Hills (Oakland, NJ) to clash with the Braves in a non-league test on Friday, May 1. The Braves go into the test with a record of 6-9. Indian Hills lost 10-0 in their recent league test against Pascack Hills (Montvale, NJ)
