Illinois High School Baseball - Limestone loses to Morton

Morton Potters (Morton, IL) followers left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Limestone Rockets (Bartonville, IL), 5-2 in a league match.

With the triumph, Morton moves its record to 16-5 on the season. The Potters travel to Illinois Valley Central (Chillicothe, IL) to battle the Grey Ghosts in a non-league match on Thursday, April 30. The Grey Ghosts come into the match with a record of 8-12. Illinois Valley Central lost 8-7 in their recent non-league match against Hall (Spring Valley, IL)

The Rockets now possess a 11-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to LaSalle-Peru for a non-league match on Friday, May 1. Limestone will battle a Cavaliers squad coming off a 8-4 league loss to Ottawa (Ottawa, IL). The Cavaliers record now stands at 8-12.
