The Springfield Catholic Fighting Irish baseball team scored 15 runs and held the host Reeds Spring Wolves to 0 in the Fighting Irish non-league win on Wednesday.

The Fighting Irish now own a 12-9 record. They take the field next when they host Blue Valley North for a non-league test on Saturday, May 2. Springfield Catholic will play a Mustangs team coming off a 4-1 league loss to Bishop Miege (Shawnee Mission, KS). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-11.

With the defeat, Reeds Spring drops to 6-12 on the year. The Wolves host East Newton (Granby, MO) to play the Patriots in a non-league test on Thursday, April 30. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 5-12. East Newton lost 10-0 in their recent league test against Seneca (Seneca, MO)
