Maryland High School Softball - Eastern Tech drops to Sparrows Point

The Eastern Tech Mavericks softball squad (Baltimore, MD), was routed 21-7 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host Sparrows Point Pointers (Baltimore, MD)

With the triumph, Sparrows Point improves its record to 10-4 on the year. The Pointers travel to Towson (Towson, MD) to face the Generals in a non-league contest on Thursday, April 30. The Generals enter the contest with a record of 14-3. Towson won 17-0 in their recent non-league contest against Dundalk (Baltimore, MD)

The Mavericks now hold a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to Carver A&T for a non-league contest on Friday, May 1. Eastern Tech will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 16-6 non-league loss to Perry Hall (Baltimore, MD). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-10.
