New Jersey High School Softball - Hackensack succumbs to Ridgewood

In Wednesday's league test, the Ridgewood The Maroons (Ridgewood, NJ) softball squad overwhelmed the host Hackensack Comets (Hackensack, NJ), by a tally of 13-2.

Next, the The Maroons clash with the Northern Highlands Highlanders (Allendale, NJ) in a Big North - Freedom test, on Friday, May 1. Ridgewood will attempt to advance on its 8-8 season record. The Highlanders go into the test with a 6-13 record after their 4-2 league win over Paramus (Paramus, NJ).

The Comets (7-12) will now prepare for their test against Ramapo (Franklin Lakes, NJ). The Raiders go into the Big North - Freedom test with a 14-3 record. In their last test, Ramapo was routed by Ramsey (Ramsey, NJ), 11-0, in a non-league test.
