The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Poultney Blue Devils (Poultney, VT) and the host Mill River Minutemen (North Clarendon, VT), observed Poultney's softball team get by Mill River by a tally of 24-18.

The Blue Devils (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Leland & Gray (Townshend, VT). The Rebels go into the SVL - C bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, Leland & Gray tipped Green Mountain Union (Chester, VT), 24-10, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Minutemen clash with the Proctor Phantoms (Proctor, VT) in a SVL - D bout, on Friday, May 1. Mill River will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Phantoms go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 28-4 league win over Windsor (Windsor, VT).
