The Taft Greyhounds (Taft, TX) baseball trounced the host Aransas Pass Panthers (Aransas Pass, TX), 18-7 in Monday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Greyhounds encounter the George West Longhorns (George West, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 29 test, on Thursday, April 6. Taft will attempt to upgrade on its 10-11 season record. The Longhorns come into the test with a 5-5 record after their 16-6 league win over Mathis (Mathis, TX).
