The Charleston Catholic Irish baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Roane County Raiders to 0 in the Irish non-league victory on Monday.
The Irish (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Summers County (Hinton, WV). The Bobcats go into the non-league match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Summers County ran past Montcalm (Montcalm, WV), 26-3, in a league match.
The Raiders (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Braxton County (Sutton, WV). The Eagles go into the Little Kanawha match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Braxton County was overwhelmed by Clay County (Clay, WV), 15-5, in a league match.
