The Franklin County Lions baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Crescent Tigers to 3 in the Lions non-league victory on Monday.

The Lions (16-5) will now prepare for their match against Seneca (Seneca, SC). The Bobcats go into the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Seneca got by Walhalla (Walhalla, SC), 6-4, in a league challenge.

With the defeat, Crescent falls to 3-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to West-Oak (Westminster, SC) to encounter the Warriors in a 3A Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, April 4. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. West-Oak won 8-4 in their recent league challenge against Walhalla (Walhalla, SC)
