The White River Hornets baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Fife Trojans to 3 in the Hornets league victory on Monday.
The Hornets (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Olympic (Bremerton, WA). The Trojans go into the non-league match with a 6-3 record. In their last match, Olympic edged North Mason (Belfair, WA), 13-3, in a league match.
The Trojans (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Franklin Pierce (Tacoma, WA). The Cardinals go into the 2A South Puget Sound match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, Franklin Pierce was overwhelmed by Enumclaw (Enumclaw, WA), 11-1, in a league match.
