The Lakeland Chiefs baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Holy Cross Crusaders to 8 in the Chiefs league victory on Monday.

The Chiefs (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Honesdale (Honesdale, PA). The Hornets go into the Lackawanna 2 match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Honesdale edged Dunmore (Dunmore, PA), 5-1, in a league match.

The Crusaders (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Riverside (Taylor, PA). The Vikings go into the Lackawanna 3 match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Riverside edged Western Wayne (Lake Ariel, PA), 14-1, in a league match.
