In Monday's league game, the host Winters Mill Falcons baseball team scored a tight 8-3 victory over the South Carroll Cavaliers.
The Falcons (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Francis Scott Key (Union Bridge, MD). The Eagles go into the Carroll County Athletic game with a 0-3 record.
The Cavaliers (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Liberty (Sykesville, MD). The Lions go into the Carroll County Athletic game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Liberty tipped Manchester Valley (Manchester, MD), 8-1, in a league game.
