In Monday's league game, the host Lincoln East Spartans baseball team scored a tight 9-6 victory over the Lincoln Northeast Rockets.
The Spartans (6-1) will now prepare for their game against Norris (Firth, NE). The Titans go into the non-league game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, Norris by Waverly (Waverly, NE), 6-1, in a non-league game.
The Rockets (4-5) will now prepare for their game against Platteview (Springfield, NE). The Trojans go into the game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Platteview by Fremont (Fremont, NE), 16-7, in a non-league contest.
