The Merritt Island Mustangs lacrosse squad (Merritt Island, FL), was overwhelmed 11-6 in Monday's non-league contest with the visiting Sebastian River Sharks (Sebastian, FL)

Coming up next, the Sharks confront the Melbourne Bulldogs (Melbourne, FL) in a 2A D8 contest, on Wednesday, April 5. Sebastian River will attempt to advance on its 8-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 6-9 record after their 19-9 non-league loss to St. Edward's (Vero Beach, FL).

The Mustangs now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to Satellite for a 1A D8 contest on Wednesday, April 5. Merritt Island will confront a Scorpions squad coming off a 15-8 non-league loss to Woodson (Fairfax, VA). The Scorpions record now stands at 7-3.
