The South Caldwell Spartans softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Ashe County Huskies to 0 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, South Caldwell improves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Spartans travel to Hibriten (Lenoir, NC) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 4. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Huskies clash with the Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) in a game, on Wednesday, April 5. Ashe County will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Cougars come into the game with a 7-0 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Mooresville (Mooresville, NC).
