Marion Scarlet Hurricanes (Marion, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Fort Chiswell Pioneers (Max Meadows, VA), 13-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Scarlet Hurricanes now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwood for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 11.
The Pioneers (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Grayson County (Independence, VA). The Blue Devils come into the non-league test with a 0-1 record.
