Georgetown G-Men (Georgetown, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Blanchester Wildcats (Blanchester, OH), 7-3 in a league challenge.

The G-Men now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Goshen for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 4. Georgetown will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 12-1 league loss to Western Brown (Mt. Orab, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Blanchester falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Felicity-Franklin (Felicity, OH) to battle the Cardinals in a Southern Buckeye AA - National challenge on Wednesday, April 5. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 1-3. Felicity-Franklin lost 15-1 in their recent league challenge against Clermont Northeastern (Batavia, OH)
