In Monday's non-league contest, the host Bridgewater-Raynham Trojans softball team scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Braintree Wamps.
With the triumph, Bridgewater-Raynham moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Trojans travel to Greater New Bedford RVT (New Bedford, MA) to play the Bears in a non-league contest on Friday, April 7. The Bears come into the contest with a record of 1-1. Greater New Bedford RVT lost 14-9 in their recent league contest against Apponequet Regional (Lakeville, MA)
In their next game, the Wamps play the Needham Rockets (Needham, MA) in a Bay State - Carey contest, on Wednesday, April 5. Braintree will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
