In Monday's non-league contest, the Randolph-Henry Statesmen (Charlotte Court House, VA) softball team overwhelmed the host Chatham Cavaliers (Chatham, VA), by a margin of 6-0.

With the triumph, Randolph-Henry moves its record to 6-1 on the year. The Statesmen travel to Buckingham (Buckingham, VA) to play the Knights in a James River contest on Tuesday, April 4. The Knights come into the contest with a record of 1-0. Buckingham won 14-2 in their recent league contest against Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA)

In their next game, the Cavaliers play the Gretna Hawks (Gretna, VA) in a Dogwood contest, on Wednesday, April 5. Chatham will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Hawks come into the contest with a 1-5 record after their 10-7 league win over Altavista (Altavista, VA).
