The Cienega Bobcats softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Desert View Jaguars to 2 in the Bobcats league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Cienega moves its record to 9-9 on the year. The Bobcats host Nogales (Nogales, AZ) to clash with the Apaches in a 5A Sonoran game on Thursday, April 6. The Apaches come into the game with a record of 0-15. Nogales lost 17-2 in their recent league game against Buena (Sierra Vista, AZ)

In their next game, the Jaguars clash with the Sunnyside Blue Devils (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 5. Desert View will attempt to move on its 2-10 season record. The Blue Devils come into the game with a 18-4 record after their 16-1 league win over Rincon/University (Tucson, AZ).
