Council Rock South Golden Hawks (Holland, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Council Rock North Indians (Newtown, PA), 6-4 in a league challenge.

The Golden Hawks now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Pennsbury for a Suburban One - National challenge on Wednesday, April 5.

With the loss, Council Rock North falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Calvary Christian Academy (Philadelphia, PA) to battle the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 11. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 2-2. Calvary Christian Academy lost 18-0 in their recent league challenge against Bristol (Bristol, PA)
