Springfield Yellow Jackets (Springfield, TN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Gallatin Green Wave (Gallatin, TN), 15-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Yellow Jackets now own a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clarksville for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 6.

With the loss, Gallatin falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Green wave travel to McGavock (Nashville, TN) to face the Raiders in a 4A District 10 challenge on Tuesday, April 4. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 1-5. McGavock won 14-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Mount Juliet Christian Academy (Mt. Juliet, TN)
