In Monday's league contest, the Hackberry Mustangs (Hackberry, LA) softball team overwhelmed the host South Cameron Tarpons (Creole, LA), by a margin of 16-10.
With the triumph, Hackberry moves its record to 3-11 on the year. The Mustangs host Starks (Starks, LA) to play the Panthers in a C District 7 contest on Tuesday, April 4. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 9-4.
In their next game, the Tarpons play the Singer Hornets (Singer, LA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 4. South Cameron will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Hornets come into the contest with a 11-13 record after their 13-1 non-league loss to Lacassine (Lacassine, LA).
