The Independence Blue Devils routed the host Lutheran West Longhorns softball squad by a count of 17-0 in Monday's league battle.

The Blue Devils (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Cuyahoga Heights (Cleveland, OH). The Red Wolves go into the Chagrin Valley - Metro battle with a 2-1 record.
